  Meet Your Doctor

Dr. Anthony V. D’Antoni graduated with a DC degree from National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, Illinois. He holds a MS degree in bacteriology from Wagner College and two Bachelor’s degrees, one in biology and the other in human biology, from Seton Hall University and NUHS, respectively. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree in health sciences, with specialization in health professions leadership, at Seton Hall University’s School of Graduate Medical Education.

Dr. D’Antoni is a clinician and academician. In addition to a private chiropractic practice in Staten Island, Dr. D’Antoni is an Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Clinical Epidemiology at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he holds a dual appointment in pre-clinical sciences and medicine. He also holds teaching appointments at the College of Staten Island, CUNY, and Dominican College. He has taught a variety of courses that include human anatomy and physiology, neuroscience, medical microbiology, diagnostic imaging, research methodology and epidemiology. He has taught undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in a diverse array of fields that include nursing, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and medicine.

Dr. D’Antoni is a research fellow of the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER) and is a referee for the American Chiropractic College/Research Agenda Conference (ACC/RAC). His current research interests include trauma epidemiology and medical education (in particular, the development of evidence-based medicine curricula). Dr. D’Antoni has authored papers in both the scientific and legal literature on the topic of trauma related to motor vehicle crashes, as well as, numerous abstracts and workshops in medical education.
